Gevurah represents strength, setting limits, judgement, contractivness, etc.

When Gevurah is in harmony, it balances itself with Chesed. When we set limits we can go overboard if we do not do so with Lovingkindness. This piece has two main voices represented by the bass and cello (Gevurah) and the flutes and bells (Chesed). So to reach our Gevurah theme we begin with the Chesed dancing support line. These two go back and forth until they dance together and in the bits of melodic motifs they toss off in their dance will be the beginning of Tiferet.
